In The Lord of the Rings, the Cave Troll is a massive and fearsome creature encountered by the Fellowship of the Ring in the depths of Moria. Used as a living weapon by the Orcs, this towering beast possesses immense strength and thick, armor-like skin, making it nearly impervious to conventional weapons.

In Peter Jackson’s film adaptation, a Cave Troll is unleashed by the Moria Orcs to attack the Fellowship in Balin’s Tomb. Wielding a massive club, it wreaks havoc before finally being slain by Legolas’ sword, which is driven into its skull after a brutal fight.
