Origin and Creation of the Character

Daki is one of the primary antagonists of the Entertainment District Arc in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Created by Koyoharu Gotouge, she first appeared in the manga in 2016. As an Upper-Rank Six Demon Moon, she is a fierce and merciless adversary.

The anime adaptation by Ufotable, particularly in Season 2, has brought her to life with stunning animation. Her complex personality and deep connection with her brother Gyutaro make her one of the most memorable villains in the series.

Character Description

Daki is a cruel and manipulative demon, disguising herself as an oiran under the alias Warabihime to hunt her prey in Yoshiwara’s Entertainment District. With long white hair with green highlights, pink eyes with flower-shaped pupils, and a slender figure, she masks a lethal power beneath her alluring beauty.

Her primary weapon is her living obi, a demonic sash she wields with deadly precision to ensnare, slice, and immobilize her enemies. Her fighting style is swift, unpredictable, and devastatingly effective.

However, Daki is not an independent threat. Her true strength lies in her fusion with Gyutaro, her hidden brother. Their unique bond allows them to share abilities and complement each other in battle, making their fight against the Demon Slayers incredibly intense and challenging.

Both charismatic and terrifying, Daki embodies the merciless nature of a demon who has fully embraced her monstrous existence.
