Jango Fett: the bounty hunter behind the Clone Empire

Jango Fett, one of the most memorable characters in the Star Wars prequel series, is the quintessential galactic bounty hunter. Introduced in Attack of the Clones (2002) and played by Temuera Morrison, Jango is much more than just a mercenary: he's the genetic model for the famous clone troopers who were the pillars of the Republic in the Clone Wars. With his steel-blue Mandalorian armor and his iconic starship, the Slave I, Jango Fett is an essential figure in the Star Wars universe.

Jango was recruited by Count Dooku to serve as a base for the clone army project. In exchange, he demanded an unmodified clone, whom he raised as his own son: Boba Fett. A skilful fighter and outstanding tactician, Jango wields his WESTAR-34 blasters with fearsome precision, while using a panoply of Mandalorian gadgets, including his jetpack equipped with a missile launcher. His confrontation with Obi-Wan Kenobi on Kamino is one of the highlights of Episode II, revealing his cunning and efficiency.
