Guns N' Roses is an American hard rock band from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 1985, it consists of singer Axl Rose, guitarists Slash and Izzy Stradlin, bassist Duff McKagan and drummer Steven Adler. Today, the band is made up of seven members: the three original members - Axl, Slash and Duff - are joined by these four newcomers, guitarist Richard Fortus, keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Melissa Reese, and drummer Frank Ferrer. In just a few years, the band has become one of the most popular hard rock bands, selling over 100 million records worldwide, including 45 million in the USA.
