Doom Eternal is a first-person shooter video game set in a science-fiction horror universe released on March 20, 2020. The game is developed by id Software and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is available on Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One from its release on March 20, 2020. It will be released on Nintendo Switch on December 8, 2020. On October 20, 2020, a standalone campaign DLC, entitled The Ancient Gods - Episode 1, was released, which follows the events of the main campaign.

The game is the sequel to Doom released in 2016, which is a reboot of the series. The first Doom was released in 1993, and was one of the first successful first-person shooters.

The player embodies the Doom Slayer, a human endowed with considerable strength and armor forged in Hell. The Doom Slayer is sent back to Earth following the events of Doom to repel the invasion of demons from the Underworld. With a varied arsenal of weapons, players are challenged to outdo themselves in fast-paced battles that require constant movement, and aggressive ammunition and life management, forging the dynamic gameplay for which the previous opus was renowned.
