Description: SCP-021 takes the form of a large, elaborate tattoo depicting a snake-dragon in oriental style, covering around 0.8 square meters of skin. This tattoo is fully animated all over its host's skin and behaves much like a normal animal, but in only two dimensions. The movement of the tattoo causes constant pain in its host, comparable (and of the same nature) to that endured during tattooing and tattoo removal simultaneously, and on a large scale. The organism tends to spend most of its time on and around the torso. SCP-021 displays no intelligence beyond a basic pattern of feeding and locomotion, although in practice measuring the intelligence of a two-dimensional life form is still impossible to this day.
