Special Containment Procedures: The area where SCP-3000 is confined, currently a region of the Bay of Bengal about 300 km in diameter, is to be regularly patrolled by Foundation vessels. Under no circumstances are civilians allowed to engage in abyssal exploration or scuba diving in the quarantine zone. Individuals suspected of having had contact with SCP-3000 must be confined and placed in quarantine. They should be treated at Site-151. Individuals affected by the abnormal properties of SCP-3000 should be kept in confinement indefinitely.

The SCPF submarine Eremita will monitor the main section of SCP-3000's body, currently located in the abyssal cone of the Ganges Delta, some 0.7 km below the Gulf. The Eremita is responsible for carrying out the Atzak Protocol, and regulations concerning personnel on board the vessel are subject to the guidelines of the said protocol. There is currently no known cure for SCP-3000 exposure, so affected individuals must be confined and quarantined for further investigation.
