Power Rangers is an American media franchise based on a team of superheroes. Power Rangers is adapted from the Japanese Super sentai series, with the American producers buying the rights to use the images and costumes from the Japanese producers.

The series (by convention, Power Rangers is considered a single multi-season series, itself divided into 1 or 2 seasons, despite the different titles) has been produced by Saban Entertainment, BVS Entertainment, and currently SCG Power Rangers LLC. Netflix broadcasts some seasons in French and original subtitled versions.

It was owned by the Walt Disney Company from 2001 to 2010, before returning to the fold of Haim Saban4.

The franchise has been criticized, in particular for its violence targeted at younger viewers, but despite this has extended the life of the series over several decades. In 2017, it aired its 24th season, while a reboot was released in theaters. Two previous films had been released: Power Rangers, le film (1995) featured the series' cast without fully inserting itself into the series, Power Rangers Turbo, le film (1997) was a prologue to the fifth season.
