Cococinel is a 78-episode French-Belgian animated TV series produced by Odec Kid Cartoons and broadcast on TF1 from 1992.

Cococinel is a female ladybug heroine who acquires magical powers by finding a mysterious four-leaf clover, and uses them to protect her world against the forces of the Cococinel character, while interspersing her mission with a normal life with her group of friends in Cocoland, the name of the village where she lives throughout her adventures. She knows how to familiarize children with the life of nature and show them that protecting it is now an absolute priority. Oscarabus, the beetle-bus, takes a jovial group of children to school every morning, including Ben-Oui and Ben-Non, the amusing twins, Cocoblue, the absent-minded poet, Cocomauve, the eternal grouch, and of course Cococinel, the magical heroine of Cocoland, always ready to help her friends solve their problems. All would be well if Cocoland weren't regularly threatened by envious and jealous predators. Fortunately, Cococinel keeps a watchful eye and, thanks to the powers of her magic clover, preserves the balance of the little community.
