Rocko's Modern Life is a 52-episode, 22-minute American animated series created by Joe Murray.

In France, the series was broadcast from 1995 on Canal+ and then Canal J, and in Quebec from September 4, 1998 on Teletoon.

The series deals with the daily adventures of an anthropomorphic wallaby named Rocko, who has immigrated to the United States from Australia. He faces many challenges and problems involving his friends, who in turn try to teach him the meaning of friendship. All the characters in Rocko's Modern Life are animals. There are a wide variety, the vast majority of whom are mentally unstable. Murray explains that he chose the personalities of many of the animals in the series to form a "social caricature."
