Navi is an Ocarina of Time character.

She is a fairy. The venerable Mojo Tree has entrusted her with the mission of helping Link, so she accompanies him throughout his adventure.

Navi represents a milestone in the advancement of the Zelda series, as she is the very first character to accompany the hero throughout the game (there will be several later, including other fairies such as Taya in Majora's Mask and Ciela in Phantom Hourglass). She is also the first dubbed character in the series (she can say "Listen!", "Watch out!", "Hey!", "Hey look!", "Hello!" depending on the situation). Her interpreter is Kaori Mizuhashi, who also gave her voice to Ciela in Phantom Hourglass.
