Mon Petit Poney G3 Rainbow Swirl second hand figure (Loose)

In 1981 (July 13), the American company Hasbro released the first pony with hair that could be styled: My Pretty Pony. Its body is brown, made of hard plastic and stands around 25 cm high, with blond manes. In a second edition (My Pretty Pony and Beautiful Baby), he is accompanied by a smaller pony: the first My Pretty Pony. In a third version, My Pretty Pony is peach-colored with pink manes and hearts of the same color on the rumps.

In 1982, the first little ponies, called G1 (Generation 1) by collectors, were released, and remained on sale until 1993. A final set, sold exclusively in the Netherlands, came out in 1995. In 1997, the G2 came out with a different design. Given the lack of success of the G2s, Hasbro launched the G3s in the 2000s, more closely resembling the G1s. In 2009, Hasbro changed the design of Mon petit poney to one similar to the Pet Shop range.
