Marvel War Machine second hand lead figure (Loose) Eaglemoss

James "Jim" Rhodes, a.k.a. War Machine, is a superhero in the Marvel Universe published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer David Michelinie and illustrators John Byrne and Bob Layton, the fictional character first appeared in the comic book Iron Man (vol. 1) #118 in January 1979.

The character began life as a former U.S. Army fighter pilot turned private pilot for industrialist Tony Stark, the secret identity of superhero Iron Man. In Iron Man (vol. 1) #170 (May 1983), Rhodes donned the Golden Avenger armor for the first time in place of Stark. In Iron Man (vol. 1) #284 (September 1992), Rhodes adopts the identity of War Machine for the first time. He then appears as Iron Patriot from Gambit (vol. 5) #13 in May 2013.
