Yo-kai Watch is a role-playing video game released for Nintendo 3DS in July 2013 in Japan, November 2015 in North America and April 2016 in Europe. The second opus in two versions, Prankster Spirits and Bloated Ghosts, was released in July 2014 in Japan, September 2016 in North America and April 2017 in Europe, followed by a third version, Psychic Specters, in December 2014 in Japan and autumn 2017 in North America and Europe. A third opus in two versions, Sushi and Tempura, was released in July 2016 in Japan, followed by a third version, called Sukiyaki, released in December 2016. The game was then released in Europe on December 7, 2018. A fourth opus was released in Japan in June 2019 on Nintendo Switch, followed by an enhanced version in December 2019 on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
