Stranger Things Advent Calendar 2024

Stranger Things is an American sci-fi horror TV series created by brothers Matt and Ross Duffer and broadcast since July 15, 2016 on Netflix.

The mood of the series is heavily inspired by the fantasy and sci-fi/horror films of the 1980s, drawing influences from the works of H. P. Lovecraft, Steven Spielberg, John Carpenter, John Hughes or Stephen King.

On a November evening in 1983 in the fictional American town of Hawkins, Indiana, twelve-year-old Will Byers suddenly disappears without a trace, except for his bicycle. Many people try to find him: his mother Joyce, his friends : Lucas Sinclair, Dustin Henderson and Mike Wheeler, guided by the mysterious Eleven, a girl with psychic powers, and police chief Jim Hopper.

At the same time, the city is the scene of supernatural phenomena linked to Hawkins National Laboratory, run by the U.S. Department of Energy (DoE) and indirectly by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), whose experiments as part of the MK-Ultra project seem to have something to do with Will's disappearance.
