Zorro is an American television series with 78 25-minute episodes shot in black and white, then colorized in 1992, and 4 50-minute episodes, created after Johnston McCulley's eponymous character published as a serial novel under the title Capistrano's Scourge. The series was produced by Disney Studios and aired in black & white between October 10, 1957 and April 2, 1961 on the ABC network.

In France, the series was first broadcast on January 7, 1965. Of the 78 episodes, only 39 were broadcast on the first ORTF channel. The series was rebroadcast from September 1970 on Thursday afternoons as part of the program "Rue des Alouettes", then in February 1974 in La Une est à vous on ORTF's 1st channel.
