Goldorak: The steel giant that marked generations
Goldorak, or Grendizer to purists, is much more than just a giant robot. Created by Go Nagai and first introduced in 1975 in the animated series UFO Robo Grendizer, he has become a veritable pop culture icon, particularly in France, where he left his mark on the 80s thanks to his appearance on Récré A2.
Piloted by Actarus, an exiled prince from the planet Euphor, Goldorak is a symbol of justice, courage and resistance to the evil forces of Vega. Armed with his emblematic Fulguropoing, Asteroax and other destructive weapons, the robot is a fearsome war machine combining raw power and agility, all magnified by spectacular animation sequences for the time.
Goldorak is not just an action series, but also a deeply human story, with universal themes such as exile, the struggle for peace and friendship. For fans of mecha and heroic tales, Goldorak remains an unmissable monument to animated science fiction. A perfect blend of nostalgia and epic adventure!
