Jurassic Park is a film directed by Steven Spielberg, released in 1993.

Adapted from Michael Crichton's 1990 novel of the same name, the film features an amusement and wildlife park on a fictional island called Isla Nublar, located in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Costa Rica. The film tells the story of a billionaire (Richard Attenborough) and his team of geneticists who manage to bring dinosaurs back to life through cloning. A small group of visitors are invited to explore the park to confirm its viability before it opens. However, the visit turns catastrophic when an act of industrial sabotage shuts down the park's electrical installations and security system, causing the dinosaurs to escape. The group must fight for survival and escape from the island.
